Dear Edgewater Community,
Welcome back! As we begin another exciting school year, we are filled with anticipation and enthusiasm for the journey ahead. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant school community.
Our dedicated team of educators has been working diligently to prepare an engaging and enriching experience for all students. This year, we will continue to focus on academic excellence, personal growth, and fostering a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
Our new initiative this year will be the Monday morning movement. Weather permitting, as a school, we will start the day outside with a run/walk for 20 minutes in our field. Kindergarten will be using the side pavement for their movement. We are all looking forward to starting each week off on the right path to physical and mental well-being.
Edgewater is striving to be a no-waste school. This means whatever food/packaging that is brought into the school will be sent home to be composted or recycled. Please have a conversation about how you want your child to organize their lunch boxes with their leftover food/peels or empty containers to minimize the mess. Please send in a refillable water bottle and cutlery with your child every day. Please see this link for more information:

I would also like to encourage you to label your child’s belongings so that any misplaced items that are labeled find their way back to the owner.
Communication and collaboration between home and school are key to our shared success. We encourage you to stay involved and connected through our various platforms, and never hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Your partnership plays a crucial role in the achievements and well-being of our students.
We look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. Together, we can make this school year a rewarding and successful one for all.
